Tyre Pyrolysis Oil (TPO) is a dark liquid that is created by heating waste tires to break down the oil in the absence of oxygen. It has a strong, burning, aromatic odor.
This product can be a substitute for fossil-based petroleum products due to higher caloric value and more economical. It can be used in industrial boilers and heating furnaces in many heavy industrial plants, including steel, cement and glass factories.
PT. Bumi Indawa Niaga is one of the agents in Indonesia that sells TPO domestically and internationally with ISCC PLUS and ISCC EU Certifications.
ISCC PLUS is a sustainable certification scheme for bio-based, renewable and circular raw materials. This certification helps ensure that our raw materials are sustainably sourced and traced throughout the supply chain.
ISCC EU certification is a sustainability certification system that demonstrates compliance with the European Union’s Renewable Energy Directive (RED II). It’s used by companies to supply sustainable biofuels, biomaterials, and other bio-based products to the European Union.
Our TPO product uses tire waste without additives. The use of this raw material can reduce pollution from the increasing number of tire waste in Indonesia.
During the production process, we treat our emissions from burning tire waste by creating air pollution systems such as vacuum tubes, emission cooling ponds and others before releasing them into the open air.
The remaining bottom ash from our furnace and wire scrap will be handed over to the related party that needs them.
