Recovered carbon black (rCB) is a solid residue that’s recycled from end-of-life tires and other rubber products.

It’s a sustainable alternative to virgin carbon black (vCB), which is a raw material made from heavy petroleum products.

There is a high interest in rCB from tires, manufactured rubber goods, plastics and pigment industries.

PT. Bumi Indawa Niaga is one of the agents in Indonesia that sells TPO domestically and internationally with ISCC PLUS and ISCC EU Certifications.

ISCC PLUS is a sustainable certification scheme for bio-based, renewable and circular raw materials. This certification helps ensure that our raw materials are sustainably sourced and traced throughout the supply chain.

ISCC EU certification is a sustainability certification system that demonstrates compliance with the European Union’s Renewable Energy Directive (RED II). It’s used by companies to supply sustainable biofuels, biomaterials, and other bio-based products to the European Union.

The product raw material of our rCB is tire waste without the use of additives. The waste tires are processed into oil by using pyrolysis method. During the process, we ensure that the emissions are managed through an air pollution control system before being released into the open air.

Based on laboratory test by INKARINS, our Recovered Carbon Black Gross Calorific Value is 6,890 kCal/kg.
